About the Author
Spintastik was created by Jennifer Nolan in 2002, after she suffered a temporary back injury that made it essential that her four sons be more helpful around the home. She designed a tool that proved to be a fun and fair way to delegate chores and motivate her children. Jennifer joined with longtime friend Tory Dietel Hopps, mother of two, to research, design, and test the idea. They discovered that spinning for a variety of responsibilities and recognizing a job well done was both highly effective and appealing to their children.
