Album Description
Bare Ridges Records,a wholly owned subsidiary of Knew Music LLC, was formed by myself, Mississippi Charles Bevel, in 1999. Althought courted by major labels, the need for artistic and financial control led to the formation of this independent label. The money needed to record our first CD, NOT OF SEASONS, was raised wholly from private sources. And all efforts at promotion and distribution are being done independently. Although discussion with other industry companies about distribution would be entertained, there is no interest in being purchased by other companies.
