Dreams

Editorial Reviews
Album Description
As a former member of both Tangerine Dream and Ash Ra Temple, multi instrumentalist Klaus Schulze is cited as one of the founders of contemporary electronic music and soundscape artists. His solo records go well beyond the "krautrock" vein and can be considered some of the finest of synthesized and experimental music coming from Europe in the 70’s, 80’s and well beyond.

The four tracks that make up 1987 Dreams fit well into Klaus’ late 80’s work and, as well, disappear into a world of their own. The title track has been said to be the most disturbing of his works while Five To Four works upon Oriental colours and textures. A Classical Move and the 24+ minute Klaustrophony relate closer to the uneven rhythms and experimental stretches and drives coupled with dark synth sounds more common of Klaus Schulze’s works.

The previously unreleased 24 minute Constellation Andromeda has been added as a bonus track to the new edition.
