Joey's heart is aimed on using music to connect people to the life changing power that only comes from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. afx worship: "AFX" - Stands for Altar FX (effect) "AFX Worship" is based out of Isaiah 6 where the Prophet Isaiah "…saw the Lord high and lifted up…". During his vision of the Lord in all His glory, Isaiah was humbled and was even more aware of his humanity and imperfections. With a coal from the "Altar" of the Lord, a Seraph (Angel) came to Isaiah and touched his lips and said that his sins were atoned for. Isaiah experienced the effect, the "Altar Effect". This is the foundation of the AFX Worship Ministry, to give as many people the opportunity to experience the same effect that was described in Isaiah 6.

With creative lyrics, memorable melodies and strong vocals, Joey (Lead Worshiper of AFX) is set to burst onto the Christian Music scene in 2003 with the AFX debut album "Reverse the Trend". Currently Joey is a worship leader, based in San Jose, California. Many of Joey's songs, including "Here" & "Caught in Your Presence" have been used in local church worship services in San Jose, California and are quickly becoming powerful tools to share the Gospel. His passionate worship style has challenged generations to search harder after the heart of God. With a firm foundation of faith and direction, Joey presents a relevant perspective on life through his music.
