Intersection Poems

Editorial Reviews
Album Description
The intersection of the four Vancouver-based musicians (collectively known as Talking Pictures) with Seattle based Wayne Horvitz has roots that extend back to 1987 when Horvitz was in residence at the Western Front working with Vancouver musicians, including Ron Samworth. In 1992, when Talking Pictures was formed, the New York Downtown scene, of which Horvitz was a central figure, was one of the primary inspirations of the group. The music on this CD is a programme of live improvisations recorded in Vancouver at the Van East Cultural Center on March 28, 2003 and represents the first meeting of this particular ensemble of artists.
