Reckless 1979-1995 [Import]

Editorial Reviews
Album Description
Formed by school friends James Reyne & Brad Robinson in the exclusive Mornington Peninsula suburb of Mount Eliza in 1978, Australian Crawl made an immediate impact with a fresh & appealing combination of wry lyric observations, bright guitar licks & vital energy welded to a sweaty backbeat. In the tradition of the great Melbourne bands before them, like Daddy Cool, Skyhooks, Jo Jo Zep & the Falcons & The Sports, Australian Crawl's accessible sound bore a particular Melbourne resonance that proved irresistible to the nation's youth. Between 1979 & 1985, the band notched up an impressive run of seven Australian Top 40 hit singles, including the #1 'Reckless (Don't Be So...)'. Reckless 1979-1995 is the only collection to feature all the hits, from both the Australian Crawl & James Reyne solo years. With digitally remastered sound, over 77 minutes of music & a 12-page color booklet with extensive liner notes & a range of images, this is the only quality compilation dedicated to the consummate performer. 2000.
