Laibach

Editorial Reviews
(Peter Write - Mute Records)
"They used facist and socialist imagery to poke fun of the stonyfaced Yugoslavian bureacracy with incredibly witty pastiche." (Peter Write - Mute Records (from liner notes))

Melody Maker UK - 1992
"Bowel-trembling bass lines, ear-splitting mangled guitar, more percussion than an explosion in a drum shop."

Album Description
Although Laibach have released over 14 albums (6 of them big sellers here in the States for Mute Records), this, their very first full-length studio recording (plus 2 Bonus Tracks) made in Yugoslavia in 1985 had never been available to their fans here before except as a limited edition hard-to-find and expensive import. Originally issued in Yugoslavia by SKUC (Student Cultural Centre Slovenia) and recorded at the Metro Studio, Slovenia. It has been licensed from their 1st manager, Igor Vidmar, and his Repot Record Co.
