About the Artist
After playing together in first The Prayer Chain and then Starflyer 59, Wayne Everett and Eric Campuzano began The Lassie Foundation. The idea was to build their own style and dynamic from the lush guitars and hushed vocals that permeated Starflyer's music. The result is a patchwork of layered guitars, rhythmic bass and steady beat, culminating in the musical equivalent of a California sunset.
Album Description
A collection of The Lassie Foundation's work, all revolving around the track "El Rey" from the Pacifico album. The EP includes songs from their first EP California, their album Pacifico, as well as two new tracks.
