the Return of the Fast Food Funkateers

About the Artist
Slapbak was formed in 1990 by Jara Harris. Slapbak released their debut album in 1993 entitled "Fast Food Funkateers" on Warner Brothers. Their second album on Warner Brothers,"Slapbak's Blue Light Special" was never released because the band left the label. Their third album was released on Raging Bull / Toxic Funk Records in 1996 and their fourth cd entitled "Futurevoid" was never released because the band decided it was to different and to old school Funk to work on the market at this time. So in 1999 Slapbak finished their fifth cd "the Return of the Fast Food Funkateers" and it's definately their phattest cd yet. BAND_MEMBERS: Jara Harris - lead vocals, bass, drums, guitar, keyboards TJ Quake - rap, vocals, percussion Janine Harris - vocals, keyboards Julie Harris - vocals, percussion, flute Hans - guitar, vocals Pocket - lead guitar
