Editorial Reviews THE MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES coined the phrase "Skacore". These songs were the first songs recorded by rhe Bosstones as a band. Right after these sessions they changed their name from The Bosstones to The Mighty Mighty Bosstones so as not to be confused with a Boston Choral group of the same name. THE OUTLETS released a Billboard recommended album "Whole New World" in the late 80's; The Outlets have remained active coming back strong in 1999 with 2 full length albums [1] "I Remember" [18 song CD on One Way Productions] and [2] "The Outlets" [Hendricks Records]. THE DEVOTIONS are a side project of John Felice the songwriter guitar player and singer for the legendary Boston Band THE REAL KIDS. When you see THE REAL KIDS perform live, it is a fair bet that they will play these tunes. Guest artist Kelly Knapp [THE BRISTOLS, THE DARLINGS] sings duel vocals on "Looks Like Goodbye". THE SEXTONS feature Robin Vaughan whose dark edgy songwriting and vocals remind the listener of mairianne Faithful and The Velvt Underground. LAST STAND [with 2 full length Maximum Rock & Roll recommended albums to their credit] are simply one of the best punk/garage bands in the United States. SHAKE THE FAITH's first self titled album [Shake the Faith / One Way Productions] garnered One Way Productions its second BOSTON MUSIC AWARD in the independant Rock catagory [the 1st being "Devils Night Out" by THE MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES released on TAANG! Records]. BOSTON RETROACTIVE includes all six of these One Way Productions artists on one record.
