Self-titled

Editorial Reviews
Twist and Shout Records, Denver, Colorado
Worm Trouble's (self-titled) debut album is filled with lyrically surreal, vocally stunning songs that, after an initial listen, will make you wonder why this band isn't beating record lables away with a stick. One of the most slick-ly produced albums to be done locally in the past few years, Worm Trouble offers a very diverse musical palette. It is hard to pin down their sources. Kathryn Ellinger and Michael Trenhaile sing like ghosts and back themselves with some very clever and eerie instrumentation. They're working on their second album now, so if you think this is good, keep your eyes out for more!

About the Artist
Worm Trouble, at the time, consisted of the songwriting team of Michael Trenhaile (vocals, guitar) and Kathryn Ellinger (vocals, bass, keyboards). Michael and Kathryn's musical roots are in classical music. Mike studied opera at Nebraska/Wesleyan University and Kathryn studied piano in Germany for over ten years.

Album Description
