Sorry Everybody.com Volume 1

Editorial Reviews
Album Description
Sorryeverybody.com was launched on November 3rd, 2004 by James Zetlen as an outlet for Americans to express their disappointment about the political situation in our country. To date, more than 23,000 people have uploaded their thoughts, images, and opinions onto the site. Sorryeverybody.com has become a phenomenon; it has received more than 80 million hits since its launch, and millions of people around the world continue to visit the site.

"I started this Web site because I wanted to apologize for not doing enough for the election and asked people to share their thoughts along with mine," says Zetlen. "It was a way for Americans to release their frustration and to tell the world how truly sorry they were for the outcome of the election. The world needs to understand that there are people in America who don’t like what our government is doing. And from the mail were receiving, there are people in the international community who appreciate this."

KAB America sought out musicians who captured the vibe and spirit of the sorryeverybody site for its musical companion, "Not surprisingly, the music scene is a hotbed of activists and people with strong political feelings, despite the fact that many major artists have chosen not to speak out about the election and war in Iraq! We quickly found many amazing artists who were already getting these important messages out there on their own, and brought them all together in this thought-provoking compilation," says Evan Balmer co-executive producer of the release. "It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to work with James Zetlen and the people at SorryEverybody.com," adds Steve Momorella, co-executive producer on the project. "We feel that we have put together a unique and diverse collection of tunes that everyone can enjoy."
