The End Of Meaning [Explicit Lyrics]

Editorial Reviews
About the Artist
Consolidated has been called "an activist recording and performing group" for the past several years. While enduring "music biz activism's" descent into the world of fundraising galas, the commitment to SOCIAL JUSTICE themes continues on this new album. Consolidated addresses social issues such as prostitution and pornography (consumption of women), women's choice, animal rights, capitalism's poisoning of humanity vis-a-vis the culture industry and more. Sherburne and Carne's instrumental improvisations signal an inevitable shift away from the embarrassing futility of "great songs" with "great production".

Album Description
Consolidated's eighth album was recorded in the Summer of 2000. It was produced by Adam Sherburne and mixed and mastered by Mark Pistel. Pistel and Sherburne are two founding members of Consolidated. The album features percussionist Kevin Carnes, currently a member of the Broun Fellinis.
