Album Description
This artist's sophomore effort is an engaging tour de force of an eclectic style that bridges 1960's pop with classic country. This disc could be called "rock" if not for the unique pedal steel guitar lines and cool, twang-spank production. Marc Corey Lee's sound echos the elegant stylings of mid-century popular music. "I Found Heaven" is a swampy rocker at heart, bouyed by Greg Liesz's searing dobro lines. "Please" is a glimmering ballad with all the passion and musical character of the best of Sinatra. Overall, think of putting Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, Buck Owens and John Denver in a blender and spicing it all up with a little salsa and a touch of Dwight Yoakam. Marc's powerful, clear tenor and his sophisticated writing make a world-class package for any fan of alternative music.
