Editorial Reviews The Oscillators became one of the area's top pop groups, and went on have their music featured in the indie film Georges Auto, and even came close to replacing the Donnas in Drive Me Crazy. The Oscillators follow-up, Incog-Neat-O!, found Miss Mary at centerstage once again singing the kiss-off anthem "Dont Look Back." On "Hey Blue!" she performs more of her original pop songs, sounding invitingly coy, suggestive, & innocent. As Michael Khouri wrote in Performer Magazine, she "performs with depth and sincerity, showing she's not so much retro as she is reincarnated." Helping out are Pete Weiss (Doug Yule, Charlie Chesterman, Willard Grant Conspiracy), Greg Porter (Unbunny), Jake Guralnick (Tuffskins, the Eddies), Jeff Mellin, Adam Hall, Todd Jones, and Oscillators Joel Mellin & M@ Saunders. Shes gonna make it after all!

...plenty of organ, trumpets, & surf guitar. ...the disc goes by like a cool breeze.

honeydewed, sweet...like the latter day Jonathan Richman... more knowing and tough than first impressions might imply
Album Description
Who can turn the world on with her boots??? When the Oscillators now classic garage pop debut Lets Rock Instead! stormed the college radio charts back in 1998, it was in part the sweet vocal harmonies of Miss Mary, as well her lo-fi gem "Superman," that caught the ear of college djs nation-wide.
