The Shape of Things [Live]

Editorial Reviews
Album Description
PERE UBU’s legacy as one of the most influential bands of the all time in indisputable. Melding combustable sonics into aphasic art rock throughout a career that spanned over two decades, Pere Ubu defined the outer boundaries of music as a communicable language and catalyzing malaise.

Now for the first time, THE SHAPE OF THINGS a rare, coveted, live performance is available exclusively from Morphius Distribution. Recorded at The Mistake in Cleveland Ohio on April 7th, 1976, the CD captures two distinct sets featuring classic Ubu cuts like 30 SECONDS OVER TOKYO and FINAL SOLUTION. Adding to the mystique of the album, is the unknown source of the second set recorded by an anonomyous engineer and mysteriously discovered years later.

Previously available only at Ubu live shows, a limited edition pressing of THE SHAPE OF THINGS is not just for fans of PERE UBU, by a true doecument of the genesis of punk as an art form.
