Album Description
A book-and-CD compilation featuring the work of sixteen of todays most creative musical instrument makers. Each artist has one track on the CD, augmented by beautiful photos and informative text in the accompanying hardbound, CD-sized 96-page book. This set was designed as a follow-up to Gravikords, Whirlies & Pyrophones, released by Ellipsis Arts in 1996, and all the glamorous adjectives used in describing that set (also available through Amazon.com) apply here as well: more wonderful music; more wonderfully inventive instruments; more wonderfully inventive makers. For more on what's included, see the "artist bios" and the track listing below.
