This rowdy, chant-along San Diego crew debuted in the majors as a lean but ravenously hungry '90s answer to Southside Johnny & the Ashbury Jukes. The skin-tight horns separate 'em from the pack while scalding riffs like "On A Rope," "Young Livers," and "Used" (sounding like a Born To Run hommage) make this a safe buy. "Punk is dead," they claim: and this slams home like a stake through the heart. Jeff Bateman --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
