Not "alt-country", but you're welcome to order another Genesee and stretch out on the chair in the corner.

Album Description
OAKLEY HALL is the new country-psych outfit from PAPA CRAZEE, formerly of Brooklyn's ONEIDA (Secretly Canadian, Turnbuckle). There. You know that important piece of information but what you may or not know is that PAPA CRAZEE is one of the most sincere artists to date, putting together a hoedown to lift the present day deadened spirits. More than just a regular roots rock record, OAKLEY HALL is a bizarre community of country folks stuck in the middle of the city, bringing real tunes to real people, worthy of a beer in the air and a soiree with some fine friends and a burger.
