Album Description
Debut full-length CD from this trio explores the inner depths of the minds eye, encapsulating in sound all that one has experienced and foreshadowing all that one will encounter.

The eagerly anticipated full-length CD winter’s end from encomiast represents the culmination of 2 years of hard work writing, recording and promoting their music to the masses. Since first posting original compositions to MP3.com in April of 1999, encomiast have established themselves as one of the up and coming artists in the dark ambient/electronic genre. encomiast have been featured several times on the famous MP3 website including the Halloween 2000 newsletter and special genre page features. Inclusion on a Riffage.com CDRom distributed through the October 2000 issue of SPIN magazine enabled them to reach an even broader audience – an audience that has placed them on the top of the dark ambient radio charts on MP3.com several times. Contributions to several compilation CD releases in the near future only help to confirm that encomiast are a trip everyone wants to take.
