The Banana Slug String Band (BSSB) is a group of four musicians that have been entertaining and educating communities nation-wide for more than 17 years. Focusing on family and primary school-aged audiences of all cultural backgrounds, The BSSB performances combine their original compositions with puppets, theater, and audience participation to create a lively learning environment within their shows. Vocals, guitar, banjo, percussion, harmonica and bass are the modes through which the BSSB imparts knowledge, inspiration and the message to take care of the planet.
