It is a rare disc that gains depth with repeated listenings.

Album Description
"Leviathan" is the long awaited sophomore release by jazz/electronica/trip skronk pioneers Enuma Elish. The landscape of sound they inhabit features their inimitable blend of field recording loops, ehtnic strings and winds, acoustic instruments, samples and electronics that made their 2001 debut "When Above" such a unique statement. Shenai choirs, woodwind ensembles, vibraphone melodies, funk guitar, subsonic bass, acoustic drumset loops, Ghanaian field recordings and ambient digital noise are seamlessly woven together to form the backdrop for the volcanic maelstrom created by Warren Jones' arsenal of woodwinds and the relentless polyrhythmic tidal wave of Yuri Zbitnoff's electro acoustic percussion.
