Action Causes More Trouble Than Thought [EP]

Editorial Reviews
About the Artist
Sushirobo, fronted by Arthur Roberts, brings a closet full of guitar effects and bizarre melodies to their debut release "Action Causes More Trouble than Thought," on Pattern 25 Records. The band formed in October 1999 and two months later found themselves recording in Seattle's Egg Studio. The fresh energy gave vitality to the songs, which quickly led to Pattern 25 Records' interest. The West Coast gets a taste this Fall when the band embarks on a regional tour.

Band Members:
Arthur Roberts -- guitar, voice
Barry Shaw -- drums
Clay Martini -- bass

Album Description
Sushirobo's debut ep offers a fresh breath to guitar pop by delivering tones and texture outside the conventional pop realm while still supplying healthy doses of hooky melodies. Guitars wired into a science lab of buzzing currents swell around choruses that will take up residence in your head for weeks.
