Tiny Idols

Editorial Reviews
Album Description
Tiny Idols is a pastiche of obscure, out-of-print, and unfairly neglected gems from the early ‘90s indie rock era in the United States. Styles range from alt-country and indie pop to avant-garde rock and shoegaze. Spanning the entire U.S., the compilation is diverse, containing both known and unknown gems.

Mark Griffey, who researched the project for two years, wrote extensive, 16-page liner notes on the artists and songs that make up this compendium. LA-based artist Dave Muller (Whitney Biennial, 2004) contributed original artwork for the cover.
