About the Artist
As one of the few practitioners of the Ancient West African Storytelling Art known as Jaliyaa, Storyteller Asha's Baba is truly a incredible anomaly. Ashas Baba has been captivating audiences for years with his interpretation of ancient tales, classical West African songs and his playing of the traditional 21-string storytellers harp, the Kora.
