Gringo

Editorial Reviews
Album Description
Debut Cd by this Chicago/Nashville group that mixes the dark sides of folk, punk, country, and blues into an eerie and potent blend, reminiscent of early X and Gun Club. The songs on this cd range from revenge -filled waltzes and depraved ballads to feedback-laden rock destruction. The cd is a backroads journey, starting in Mexico and plowing through America, stopping along the road at a ragged assortment of diseased, rustic attractions on the underbelly of society. Beautiful, scary, loud, melodic, and somehow poetic, Gringo will crawl under your skin and stay there.

Band members are... Jim- Guitar, vocals Leila Vartanian- bass, vocals Tim Krause-drums
