The Banana Slug String Band integrates music, comedy, theater, and puppetry with the teaching of science and ecology. Our unique blend of education and music has been described as a cross between "a hootenanny, a vaudeville routine, and a science class." Goin' Wild teaches the Fun-damentals of science. Our latest recording "Penguin Parade" is all about animals and their habitats. It has won several awards including the 1996 Parent's Choice Honor award.
