About the Artist
Singer Des de Leon and guitarist Terry Nicolas started the band in 1992, playing house parties and local events in San Francisco. At one of these parties they met future band mates bassist Jay Averilla and drummer Rob Uytingco, who were both in other bands at the time. In 1997 Julie Plug's demo tape caught the attention of the indie label Classified Records, which recorded their full-length debut, Starmaker.
