Box [Box set]

Editorial Reviews
Album Description
Box compiles GBV's first four albums from the 1980s, along with a disc of rarities from that era as well as Bee Thousand. These albums were originally released by the band on vinyl only in editions of 300 to 1000 copies, with nearly every one on a different invented record label (Schwa, Halo, Rocket #9). Each LP takes a varied approach, but all are marked by Pollard's trademark melodicism. The first LP, Devil Between My Toes, is a favorite of Pollard's and many fans.

To preserve album integrity, each LP is contained on a single disc, making this a 5 disc set. The discs are housed in jewel boxes, which are contained in an outer board sleeve. The booklets feature Pollard's original art as it appeared on the original LPs.
