Boyd has worked with writer friend Sherman Alexie both in concert and in studio, and also was in the Native American music group XIT. Three songs from this CD was placed in the miramax motion picture Smoke Signals and is included on the TVT Records soundtrack. The song "Small World" was placed on the benefit CD HONOR, which included many other guests such as; Bonnie Raitt, the Indigo Girls, John Trudell, Matthew Sweet, and many more.
