About the Artist
Lisbeth Scott is a singer/songwriter from Venice Beach California. Her songs and voice can be heard on countless Films and television shows including Shrek, Spy Game, Survivor, Dinosaur, Felicity, The Scorpian King. Lisbeth is the featured vocalist on Windham Hill's release "State of Grace" created by Paul Schwartz. Paul's next release entitled "Earthbound" features Lisbeth as well, and hits stores on May 21st. Her voice has been called "...stunning, ethereal, other worldly, haunting...." by papers such as The New York Times, The LA Times, The Orange County Register and The Barnes & Noble Review.
Album Description
Dove, Lisbeth Scott's 3rd release, is her most stunning effort to date. Mixed at Abbey Road Studios in London by Peter Cobbin and featuring members of the Seattle Symphony and many other talented musicians, this collection weaves a delicate story of the mysteries of love. The influences of Irish, Medieval, Folk, and Classical music can be heard in the unique style of this recording. Scott is featured on guitar and piano and produces 8 tracks on her own. She shares production credit on 2 tunes with the talented composer Nathan Barr. Bernhard Locker produced 2 tunes as well. Scott's uniquely captivating voice ties this beautiful package together.
