Matador at Fifteen

Editorial Reviews
Album Description
Though it's been fifteen years since Chris Lombardi founded Matador, this anthology focuses on the last five. CD #1 contains the greatest hits from Cat Power, Interpol, Stephen Malkmus, Yo La Tengo, Belle & Sebastian, Mogwai, Mission Of Burma, and The New Pornographers. CD #2 includes unreleased tracks and rarities from many of these same bands, along with Cornelius, Guided By Voices, and AC Newman. The DVD contains videos from Pavement, Mary Timony, Interpol, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, and nearly all the bands listed above. Thirty-five tracks (sixteen unreleased) and fourteen videos at a budget price. The deluxe 4-panel digipak even includes reproductions of the hate mail received over the years
