About the Artist
Kay Cordell Whitaker is the author of "The Reluctant Shaman" and "Sacred Link". An internationally recognized storyteller, healer, seer and educator who apprenticed for over thirteen years with Chea and Domano Hetaka, shamans of the eastern Andes. The Hetakas are among a small group of traditional elders from this region that have traveled through the world of our modern society expressly to fulfill their tribal prophecies by gifting to the world a knowledge they say we have long since dangerously lost. It is the wish of their people to share these gifts with us to help heal our species and our planet while we still can.
