About the Author
Author, Ron Schaaf, in his own life is no stranger to wilderness adventure throughout North America – or to danger. His first hand experiences have carried him from shark encounters while scuba diving on coral reefs, to flaming infernos in the vast forests of the Rocky Mountains, to giant Kodiak bears in the tundra of Alaska. And he writes about the wilds with authority and, often times, chilling realism that only his personal experience can provide. Currently, he and his family live in Florida.
