The film opens with the beginning of man's fragile kinship with this twisting 277 mile Canyon, then moves the audience through time with brief glimpses at the stone pages of human history. From the mysterious Anasazi who inhabited the Canyon 4,000 years ago, viewers will travel through time to join Major John Wesley Powell as he challenges the unexplored Canyon and raging Colorado River in 1869. The journey continues to today's relentless quest to conquer this majestic Canyon. Grand Canyon - The Hidden Secrets was created and filmed by Academy Award winner Kieth Merrill.

Three-time Emmy and Oscar award winner Bill Conti composed the music and it was performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Ambrosian Singers.

The Original score is by academy awardwinner composer Bill Conti's whose credits include such films as ROCKY,MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, VICTORY and many others.

His sweeping score to the IMAX film GRAND CANYON-THE HIDDEN SECRETS. is a magnificent full-bodied score that features a 60-piece orchestra and full choir and contains some of the most beautiful music Mr. Conti has ever composed. The score will remind listeners of the works of John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Elmer Bernstein and other great composers for the silver screen.
