About the Artist
Shakta Kaur Khalsa, a Kundalini Yoga teacher since 1976, produced this companion CD so that more people could enjoy the deeply moving and uplifting music that she uses in her yoga classes to relax and rejuvenate her students. Beside producing this CD, she is a published author of four books: Fly Like A Butterfly-Yoga for Children (Sterling, 1998), The Five Fingered Family (The Brookfield Reader, 1999), Kundalini Yoga (DK, Jan. 2001), and Keep It Simple (KISS) Guide to Yoga, (DK, 2001)

Album Description
A collection of peace-giving music, this CD was created as a companion to the book, Kundalini Yoga, by Shakta Kaur Khalsa. It can also be enjoyed on its own anytime you want to relax, heal, meditate, and pray. Some titles are in English, and some in the sacred language of Gurmukhi, which is rooted in Sanskrit.

Music and Mantra Companion CD contains every mantra and meditation that is given in the Kundalini Yoga book, so together the book and CD empower even those new to Kundalini Yoga with all they need to get started and have a real experience of soul and spirit.
