What a solid package this is! New songs, all performed well, and with a lot of oomph - a virtual waterfall of notes and sounds. As a bonus, the original version of "Repeto" is included. It is good!

The Vara-Tones play authentic instrumental surf music. The band formed in the early sixties when the "first wave" of instrumental surf music made its debut. Leo Fender and Dick Dale were experimenting with the outboard reverb unit in conjunction with the Stratocaster and Showman amplifier to create what would be the forerunner to the "heavy" rock sound.
