About the Artist
The family of entertainers known as The Quailes has been performing together for... well, all their lives! With a house full of eleven children, Bob Quaile Sr. took inspiration from the Osmond Brothers and taught his oldest six to sing harmony around the dinner table. Private music lessons followed as each child chose an instrument and gradually added it to the act. Not yet in their teens, The Quaile Family Singers started performing at local then national nightspots playing every style of music from Big band to Rock with arrangements that take advantage of "brother" harmony. After ten years of entertaining, The Quailes acquired and ran their own club, The First Fret, and played there exclusively until casinos came to call. The Quailes’ shows gained wider acclaim and were recognized by Atlantic City Magazine as the "Best of A.C.". They have performed on stage with Paul Anka, Pat Cooper, Helen Reddy, Susan Anton, Bobby Rydell, Davey Jones and The Monkees, and! the "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" parties hosted by Robin Leach. They have traveled to England and Whales, as well as casinos in Atlantic City and Reno. The band now chooses to play closer to their homes in New Jersey by playing private and corporate affairs.

Product Description
"Family and Friends" A more appropriate title could not be found to describe the intimately inclusive feeling one gets from The Quailes. Considering the size of the family and the vast amount of people they have touched personally and musically throughout the years, they have many "Family and Friends." My personal relationship with the Quailes began in 1972, when I first met the eldest male child, Bob. Being a fellow saxophonist, there was an immediate kinship. Little did I realize at the time that once you met one Quaile, you met them all, and were an "unofficial" member of the extended family. Currently, the number of people in the "unofficial" family is too large to calculate. The parents, Cass and Bob, always made each addition to their extended family of friends feel welcomed, whether in their home, at their dinner table or at The First Fret. Ah, the Fret! What a great club! From 1974 to 1984, there wasn't a better place in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area to have a good time. A great night out, with great music provided by the Quailes. Musically, you will be able to judge for yourself what a night at the Fret was like (if you weren't fortunate enough to have been there) by listening to this fine collection of tunes. From the early family trademark "Dixie" style music (Just A Closer Walk With Thee), through Country & Western (Oklahoma Swing), standards (Polka dots and Moonbeams), right up to more contemporary rock and pop, you will be amazed at the top-notch musicianship as well as the diversity of styles represented here. The rich harmonies on "You Made Me Love You" and the sensitivity of "One Voice" and "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" make you want to hear more of this fine performing group. And you can, from time to time hear the Quailes perform in concert at events and parties. You SHOULD be invited, but it's worth it to crash the party just to hear them! I am fortunate to have been associated with this family for all these years. (I didn't know them when they performed as a child act on Steel Pier in Atlantic City, but I have seen a few of them act like children from time to time!) It has been my privilege to work with them, but more importantly, be a considered a friend. I thank them for including me in the large, but nonetheless exclusive group of "Family and Friends."
