About the Artist
CALVIN KEYS is a jazz guitarist prominent on the San Francisco Bay Area jazz scene. Past leader of the Earl "Fatha" Hines band, Ray Charles band alumni and has also been a frequent member of the Ahmad Jamal group. Has recorded extensively with Ahmad Jamal. Keys recorded 3 albums for the Black Jazz label of the 70s and has done 3 albums for the Olive Branch Records label in the 80s and 90s.
