About the Artist
Carli Muñoz has a respectable history of live and studio performance dating back to 1961 when he performed at the age of 13 with some of the components of "Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers". Later in the 60's recorded under the name "Space" on Capitol Records, in 1969 toured with Wilson Pikett, and in 1971 joined "The Beach Boys" until 1981. By that time had performed or recorded with artist such as: George Benson, Les McCann, Charles Lloyd, Al Jarreou, Jimmy Haskel, Paul Horn and others. Later in the 80's Carli moved to Puerto Rico where he put together a jazz trio under his name and continued to perform receiving great press reviews. In December of 1998, Carli opens "Carli Café Concierto" In the historical city of Old San Juan, where he has been performing nightly by himself and with his jazz trio, at the same time providing some of the best fine dinning and atmosphere in the Caribbean night life, again, receiving great reviews from the press. In August of the year 2000, Carli goes to Nola Studios in New York City (one of the oldest running recording studios in America), and "with a little help from my friends" as Carli says, records "Love Tales". The rest is history.

The label Pelosenel Q Lo Records was created and registered in December year 2000 as a DBA in San Juan PR in order to represent the work of pianist/composer Carli Muñoz primarily. Some other artist may be presented in the future by this label.
