Jack Grassel plays both guitar and bass simultaneously using an invention of his called the SUPERAX. It really is suprising to hear. The program is a lighthearted display of Christmas music used as a launching pad for improvisation. The interaction of Grassel's swinging guitar notes with his superax and the drumming of Ernie Adams highlight the pseudo trio playing happy and fast paced tunes. Jack worked four years on eight seasonal favorites to rework them from the chords up, to restore our delight in this music.
