About the Artist
Songwriter/producer Greg Freeman's creativity is superbly highlighted in his debut CD, "Greg Freeman - more to life..." Skilled in both songwriting and arranging, Greg offers a variety of sound in this production of original compositions, which includes his interpretation of the Isley Brother's 1975 hit, "For the Love of You".

Early in his career, Greg fine-tuned his skills through his involvement with locally renowned jazz and symphonic bands, and later with Howard University's concert band during college. His knowledge of the industry was further developed through his father, the late Sonny Freeman, former percussionist for Bluesmaster B.B. King. An accomplished saxophonist, Greg has collaborated on special projects with legengary songwriter and vocalist William Guest, formerly of Gladys Knight and the Pips.

Through his start-up production company, GERG Music Productions in Oak Park, he writes, performs and produces a high-quality, musically moving sound sure to appeal to novice and veteran jazz-lovers alike.
