Owen's first (and only) piano teacher was his mother, a concert pianist and singer, who soon realized that her son was not to be a classical musician. Encouraged by his wife, Margaret, he developed over the years a musical style and repertoire primarily for the enjoyment of his family and friends. Each song has a history and tells a story of life and love and memory. You are invited to listen to this performance recorded professionally at home on his own piano as a surprise for Margaret. Owen practices orthopedic surgery in Memphis, Tennessee.
