Those who can, do. And it seems there's nothing that the talented and gifted performer TC Carson can't do...exceptionally well. For years, audiences loved this two time NAACP Image Award nominee as part of the talented ensemble cast of the FOX hit television series, "Living Single" featuring Queen Latifah which continues to run in syndication.

TC is an artist with skill and delivery far beyond his age. Vocally, he has been compared to some of the greats. With his deep rich vocal styling and his ability to mix classic soul and jazz, he is destined to conquer yet another artform. As his television character Kyle, he proved he could win a place in your heart and now, as himself he will show he can build a home there.

TC is realizing one of his ultimate dreams, to record a CD his way without the assistance of a major record company. Initially TC was met with resistance to his singing endeavors, so he began looking for someone who could relate to his personal style of music. Through a friend, he was introduced to hit producer Andre Cymone (Jody Watley, Prince, Adam Ant).

Together they have created a Masterpiece, a collection of songs that will definitely stand the test of time. "I'm thrilled," he says, of the completed project. "Truth" was a labor of love, a compilation of fresh songs that include ballads, mid tempo's, African rhythms, and dance funk tunes. Some of the CD's future classics include the first single, "This Time," the soulful exuberance of "Waiting For You," the soaring refrain of "Private Life" and the expressive elan of the title track, "Truth".

"We cut the entire CD live with very few overdubs and focused on performance instead of perfection. Every composition is lyric driven. We tried to get back to story telling with this project".

Accompanying TC on this labor of love are some of the most accomplished musicians on the planet. Patrice Rushen on keyboards and strings, Andre Cymone on guitar, Patrick Gandy on keyboards, Ndugu Chancler on drums, Munyungo Jackson on percussion and Del Atkins on Bass with a guest appearance by Byron Miller.
