Prashant is a young rapidly rising musician within today's music scene. His brilliant song writing, versatility of musical style combined with his flawless technique and singing tone has made him a force to be reckoned with. His captivating melodies and intricate rhythms create lasting impressions on any listener. Among his many talents, he excels in the following:

AT THE PRESENT TIME
* Prashant's debut album entitled "REVELATION" was released in Europe by Virtuoso Records and in Japan by Soundholic Records in 1998/1999. Greg Howe produced this CD.
* Prashant has a second album, "DUALITY", which has just been completed. Greg Howe also produces this CD.
* Look for "DUALITY" to be released in the coming months.
* Prashant is featured in Greg Howe's latest album,"ASCEND", which was released on Shrapnel Records.
* Prashant has performed many guitar seminars around the world. The most recent seminars were performed in May of 1999 in Tokyo, Japan, for ESP Academy and Musicians Institute.
* In addition, Prashant has had many interviews in some of the top magazines in Europe and Japan. To name a few, Young Guitar, Burrn, Guitar Magazine, Adlib Magazine, Mindview Belgium and Axe Guitar Magazine.
* Prashant also has had several of his guitar technique columns published.

EARLY BEGINNINGS
* Prashant's first formal training in music started with learning to play TABLA when he was 8 years old. Two years of intense training gave him solid sense of rhythm.
* When he was 12 he got involved with guitar playing which became his passion.
* A year later, Prashant performed in front of over 500 people as a part of an annual School event "The Garage Band Night" held at the Monta Vista High School, Cupertino, California. He played an original composition, which was much acclaimed.
* When he was 15 years old, he was chosen to play in "The Bay Area's Best Talent" night, sponsored by Reik Music.
* Two years later he was selected to play in Lexington High School Jazz Ensemble in which he played four performances throughout the year.
* In the fourth performance he was the showcased soloist and among the set, performed the song "Room 335" by Larry Carlton.
FORMATIVE YEARS
* Prashant continued his musical endeavor at the world renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston.
* In the second year at the Berklee College of Music, Prashant was selected , through unanimous faculty vote, as one of the top seven guitarists among over a thousand, to perform in the annual "Guitar Night" in front of the entire school, faculty, accomplished musicians and guests. Among the VIPs present were, Steve Morse, Andy Timmons and John Petrucci. Prashant was chosen to represent Instrumental Jazz-Rock fusion.
* In 1994, at age 20, Prashant won "Bay Area's Best Guitarist" competition, sponsored by KSJO radio station and the band Aerosmith. He was awarded a Gibson Les Paul autographed by the band members of Aerosmith
* In 1995, he was introduced to the renowned guitarist Greg Howe by Mike Varney and received advanced training from him.
