About the Artist
Trumpet player Roderick Wilson began playing the trumpet in 1965, and began concentrating more on gospel and gospel jazz in 1975.He played in local show bands from 1968 to 1972.At Kent State University in the seventies,where majored in industrial design, he played in the Jazz Lab II band, and various jazz and gospel ensembles. Throughout the eighties and nineties, Roderick has played for various churches and church related functions, including prison outreaches and conferences.

Sonday Music Record Company is the label founded by myself, Roderick Wilson, and I am currently the only artist on the roster. The musical focus of Sunday Music will be gospel or christian jazz, contemporary christian, and traditional gospel music. Other artists will be added to the label as the company grows and the budget permits. Sonday Music is located at 2555 Woodway Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45406.
