Product Description
Recorded in October 1979 this Represents the First Time the Trio Had Recorded Together, Although They Had Initially Played Together in 1966 and Worked in Various Outfits (Spontaneous Music Ensemble, London Jazz Composers Orchestra). It was Totally Improvised in the Studio and the Tracks were Recorded in the Order They Are on the Disc, Hence the 'organic' Title. Musically They Unselfconsciously Explore the Flexibility of the Classic 'piano Trio' Format in Jazz, Eliminating the More Obvious Conventions of Role-playing.
