Product Description
A well-known pianist since the publication of a first stunning album in 2000, Françoise TOULLEC has produced her second effort in a trio. The well-named "Le Perturbateur" ("The Troublemaker") published in 2002 proceeds with the approach that started with "La Banquise En Eté" ("Ice Floe In Summertime"), namely providing a music that sounds like no other, somewhere between Rock In Opposition, modern jazz and contemporary music. Beside the French lady are the sculptor William NOBLET and the singer Claudia SOLAL. Daughter of the famous jazzman Martial SOLAL, she sings essentially using onomatopoeiae, which confers a unique style to the eight compositions included in this album. Four of them were recorded live and three other songs were totally improvised. One question is arising now: are you really ready for such an experience ?
