About the Artist
Lynn was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1958, and has been playing the Piano since age 12 yrs. Lynn's musical roots come from Gospel, which is where Lynn was first exposed to the Piano and Hammond B-3 organ. Lynn's Mother has always been a major musical influence on Lynn through her involvement with Gospel music and Church Choirs.

Following College, Lynn joined a R&B/Pop music band in the early 1980s, which served as his first exposure to live show performing. Following years of playing gigs in local clubs and special events, Lynn started working on original material which has evolved into his debut Jazz CD "Smooth Sailing"

Smooth Sailing is a "smooth" comtemporary Jazz CD with acoustic piano and synth lead lines/solos. All songs were written and composed by Lynn N. Cannon except for "Black Cow" and "You Make Me Feel Brand New", which were arranged by Lynn N. Cannon. The CD offers easy listening music which can be played during relaxing home settings or in vehicles.
