He Left that Band and Helped to Form the Keith Tippett Sextet. Between 1969-1972, Elton Formed Part of the Now Legendary Soft Machine Line-up (Wyatt, Hopper, Ratledge, Dean). Tracks One and Four Feature the Elton Dean Quartet, with Mark Hewins (Guitar), Marcio Mattos (Double Bass) and Tony Bianco (Drums). Track Two is Just Elton and Mark, Displaying a Fluidity that Comes with 25 Years of Playing Together. Elton and Mark Are Joined on Track Three by the American Poet, Sibyl Madrigal.
